As a basic principle, ADDICTA: The Turkish Journal on Addictions is highly sensitive over the processing and protection of personal data of any individual, who comes into contact with the journal, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698.

Accordingly, our journal identified as “Data Controller” within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data processes your personal data according to the principles explained below and within the boundaries of the Law.

The privacy policy of ADDICTA: The Turkish Journal on Addictions may change due to the adjustments on the Law or any other reasons.  Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date and announced via e-mail.

It is possible to browse ADDICTA: The Turkish Journal on Addictions website without entering any personal information. However, we will collect your personal information when you require a specific service/transaction (e.g., contact forms, e-mail alerts, demands for subscription, etc.).

ADDICTA: The Turkish Journal on Addictions will process your personal information for determining the subscriber and client profiles, while responding to your questions/comments, providing appropriate services, and expanding business development.
